CHRIS WORKMAN
Biography
Christopher Workman is the co-author, with film historian Troy Howarth, of Tome of Terror: Horror Films of the 1930s (2015) and the upcoming Tome of Terror: Horror Films of the Silent Era, both published by Midnight Marquee Press. Christopher is also a freelance science, language arts, and social studies writer and editor. In that capacity, he has worked with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, McGraw-Hill, Pearson, Carolina Biological, and Scholastic, among other publishers. In his free time, he writes Blu-ray reviews for the website www.rockshockpop.com.
A graduate of Urbana University with degrees in English, Communication, and Liberal Arts, he has been obsessed with The Three Investigators since reading M.V. Carey’s The Mystery of the Magic Circle in third grade. In fact, after reading The Mystery of Death Trap Mine shortly thereafter, he knew he wanted to be an author. This is his first Three Investigators’ mystery.
